A NUN IS ACUSE OF SEXUAL ABUSE

Last Wednesday I was reading the newspaper and this news caught my attention so I thought that was a good idea to write about it. Is about a nun named Adela, who lived in a congregation in Heredia, she abused two girls, ages 3 and another 6 years. The Catholic tribunal process starts investigation against the suspect. I am going to tell you what is going to happen with the girls of the house, and what does the nun friend´s says to the newspaper.

A nun was accused of sexual abuse, because abuse of two girls, her friends are silent, but the Mother Superior knew what happened and talked with the priest about  the situation, so they should talk to the PANI because they  paid to  Adela 26 million when she began in hostel Maín house of Heredia. Once that was expelled from there, the nun went to the Provincial House of the Daughters of Maria Auxiliadora Curridabat, but she can´t wear the habit of participating on religious activities of the congregation. The priest said to the news that they are going to determine if she can continue as a religious or if it helps to return to the lay life, “also said that they don´t want to give the impression of hiding her, but on the contrary that the truth comes to light” (Sixto Varela, La Nación).

In my opinion Adela did not have that abuse two girls and being religious, 15 years ago she decided to not raise a family and be a nun instead, mother superior and the priest will have to think about whether she continues as a religious or return a to lay life, seems to me to better follow their lay life since it may be that at some time may make another mistake and be judge by other people, so it´s better to her. Many times when people saw this kind of news in all the medias people judge other people without knowing their lives and that´s annoying for many people. Even the legal process is starting and that could not be reached to conduce something very specific.


Passive voice:

Use: When the focus is on the action. It is not important or not known , however, who or what is performing the action.

Example: My byke was stolen.

Sometimes a statement on passive voice is more polite than active voice.

Example: A mistake was made.

Form: Subject + finitive form of to be + past participle 

Example: A letter was written.

Note: 

• The object of the active sentence becomes the subject of the passive sentence.
• The finite form of the verb is changed (to be + past participle) 
• The subject of the active sentence becomes the object of the passive sentence.
